Shoot! Jollibee's service really really suck!

Okay my co worker just finished talking to a manager from Jollibee Emerald Ave branch. I will let him write his own story so here he goes.

Dang it! I don't know how they train their managers but this "guy" manager I talked to seems...so....can't find the right word really. So here's what happened:

I went back to Jollibee to let them see and check the rice that they served to me. I told the "guy" manager to check their rice discreetly because there's a lot of customers waiting in line and I don't want them to rattle or something. So I handed him the rice and he opened it up and went back inside. He came out after a minute and said they will conduct an investigation. Because I haven't finish my food earlier, I'm still hungry and will take my lunch nearby so I told him I can not just wait there. He asked for my complete name and phone number (office number) and told him that I won't be back until 45 minutes later so make sure they will call me after 45 minutes or so.

It's 6pm when he called me at my office. He said based on the result of their investigation, the rice is good and maybe I just smelled it differently. Well, I told him I ate a spoonful of it and the smell wasn't nice, even my co workers said the same thing. He insist that the rice is good. So I just told him, then why just inform and call me now and he said because he's still waiting for me to return to the branch. Geez...I told him "you asked for my number because you will call me instead then why wait for almost 6 hours before calling me?" and he said "Sir honestly I'm still waiting for you to come back". At that point we are going around in circles so I asked him if I can put everything in writing and let him acknowledge it by signing it. He said he can only receive but can not sign anything and I told him then its pretty useless for me to put everything in writing because you can always deny whatever it is in there later on. He said thats there SOP and he really can not do anything about it. After having an argument for a good 20 minutes, I decided its useless to continue talking to him so I said thank you and called 898-7777, Jollibee's customer support number.

I talked to Rea or Rhea and told her everything and she said they will coordinate with the branch and a QM (whatever that means). I still need to finish a lot of work and hopefully they will do something about it.

You should have just asked another serving of good rice. Which would have taken approximately 10 minutes max to get served to you.

The efffort and amount of times that you spent on such a simple matter is ridiculous. Get a life.

Congo Grill sucks! I heard from my friend that the current owner scammed his original partners. Forcing them out and keeping the business all to himself. What kind of person does this ? Greedy indeed ! Boycott Congo Grill !

Just found this randomly through a google search.

I eat at Jollibee Emerald Avenue, although medyo matagal nga naman dumating yung order ko (most won't order 39ers anyway if you're earning a lot in Ortigas Center), I tell them discreetly and respectfully if medyo matagal dumating yung order ko. And I've tasted tutong rice in Chowking before but I have never, ever, thought of blogging on the net using a user name demeaning to the restaurant. So they messed up. Big deal, do you honestly believe that in 10000 tries or orders in a day they would not have a mistake? I agree with Jose, you could have just asked for another cup of rice.

I would like to share my awful experiences at Jollibee. One time, I noticed that the spoon and form they gave me were oily (gamit na siguro) so I asked for a replacement. And do you know how they clean their trays? Pinupunasan lang ng maduming basahan. Basta magmukhang malinis, okay na. And they will put the tissue on the tray, and that tissue gets to your lips. Boom! Who knows what microbes are on that tray.

Please allow me to add on to this. At Jollibee, SM Marikina, there's this manager, Carlo Lopez, who told me that I'd have to wait 15 minutes when I ordered for a bucket of 6-pcs Chickenjoy. I asked him why I had to wait when I could see more or less 30 pcs of chicken on the counter. He said it's because they will run out of chicken to serve the other customers waiting in line. Where's the sense in falling in line then if my order wasn't gonna be served first? He asked the kitchen crew something and then got back to me and said they could serve it in 5 minutes but it will be all leg-parts, my frustration built up some more 'coz I & my family were so hungry at that time, leg parts are smaller and I preferred to get a fair share of thigh/breast parts, and all I got was crappy customer service! Walk-out mode, lipat sa KFC, not all perfect but at least we got our meal fast and the chicken parts were bigger!
